About Anne
Anne Martin-Bohan always had a passion for the arts and filmmaking. She started filming and editing home videos at age 15 and wrote her first book at age 19.
(She was too shy to publish it.)
After graduating secondary school in Hungary, Anne obtained a Hospitality Management degree and moved to Ireland in 2011. She spent 6 years working in hospitality gaining valuable experience in meetings and events. However her passion for writing and filmmaking never left her. So one day she left her hospitality career to complete a seven month internship as a VFX production assistant in a post production house. Unfortunately the US TV show pilot Anne worked on didn’t get picked up.
She decided to explore a different sector and began working at a Biotech Startup. Over her 3 years there she learned the ins and outs of operations and how to run a business. She also got to scratch that artistic itch by looking after digital marketing, creating marketing materials and producing short recruitment videos.
The next step in her career as a Marketing and Administrative Coordinator at a financial firm, she designed brochures, built websites, produced video ads, ran sponsorship campaigns and looked after corporate events. During lockdown Anne channelled her energy into creating a monthly internal comedy news show for her colleagues.
In her last position Anne was the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Business Development & Marketing, and the Vice President of EMEA Operations at the Global tech sales company MarketStar. At MarketStar Anne learned a lot about business operations on a Global scale.
Anne is grateful for every era of her career as now she has a unique and versatile set of skills. In her spare time for the past seven years Anne’s been studying filmmaking, script writing and she’s been working on adapting one of her books into a 5 part limited mini tv series. Anne’s dream is to one day independently produce and direct this series.
The goal of AMB Consultancy is to evolve over time into MSA Productions, a film production company that will produce this project and hopefully many others.
